I share your vision about the high number of web based versions of existing desktop utilities. Some time ago, a guy in the job says:

&quot;...today an aplication that&#039;s not in the web, well, can&#039;t be called application&quot;

An that is in most cases true. It seems like the reborn of the old paradigm of silly-console/mainframe.

Do you see the capability of browse the web using your TV?. This is very cool because you can create software and share it very easy in a great variety of devices(as I see, flash is perfect for that).

I think that is a very interesting tendence.
